Liquid fertilizers
SWIMER offers the SWIMER AGRO Tank series for storage and distribution of liquid fertilizers such as nitrogenous fertilizers, urea and ammonium nitrate solution. Our tanks are manufactured from polyethylene resistant to solar radiation, by rotational molding. A single cast without any joints or welds guarantees resistance and tightness. Remember that such liquid fertilizers cannot be stored in corrosion-sensitive tanks due to their properties.
Capacities:
Single-walled tanks for storage of liquid fertilizers are available in three versions:
SWIMER AGRO Tank ECO-Line with capacities of 1500, 2500 and 5000 L,
SWIMER AGRO Tank with capacities of 2500, 3500, 5000, 7500, 10000, 12500, 20000, 22000 L
SWIMER AGRO Tank MULTI with capacities of 20000, 25000, 40000, 44000 L
Double-walled tanks for storage of liquid fertilizers are available in two versions:
SWIMER AGRO Tank ECO-Line (double-walled) with capacities of 1500, 2500 and 5000 l, and
SWIMER AGRO Tank (double-walled) with capacities of 2500, 3500, 5000, 7500, 10000 l
Nitrogenous fertilizer:
The urea and ammonium nitrate solution is a highly concentrated nitrogenous fertilizer in the form of aqueous urea and ammonium nitrate solution. It contains an environmentally friendly corrosion inhibitor. The solution is most often manufactured in three concentrations (28%N, 30%N, 32%N) adjusted to various transportation and storage temperatures.
The most often mentioned advantages of this type of fertilizer include:
-
All available forms of nitrogen (nitrate, ammonium, amide) in favorable proportions.
-
It provides plants with permanent supply of nitrogen during the vegetation phase.
-
Shows quick and long-lasting effect.
-
Applied to pre-sowing and late top dressing.
-
Its liquid form accelerates the absorption of nitrogen by the plants.
-
Spraying or spreading allows to distribute the fertilizer evenly.
-
It demonstrates high effectiveness in dry periods.
-
Generally a lower price of a pure ingredient (N) when compared to solid fertilizers.
Storage:
A nitrogen fertilizer must be stored in closed containers provided with an air vent, at a temperature higher than the crystallization temperature. The containers should be made of corrosion-resistant materials. It is not permissible to apply any non-ferrous metals or their alloys.
SWIMER AGRO Tanks are provided with a distribution system with such components as:
-
STORZ hose coupling located at the top of the container
-
bottom intake with a valve
As an option:
-
filling line
-
immersion pump of various capacities
-
4m or 6m long suction and delivery hose with a STORTZ coupling
Advantages of our tanks:
-
do not corrode
-
do not fade - are resistant to UV rays
-
resistant to weather conditions
-
resistant to mechanical damage
-
single cast - no joints or welds
-
easy to keep clean
-
do not require any maintenance
-
easy to transport
-
high chemical resistance
